USER TO USER MESSAGING FOR PORNSTARS!

User to user messaging has finally come to Second Life. Read more from the great Hamlet Au's blog below for the details!

Linden Lab Adds Web-Based User-to-User Messaging to Its SL Social Network; Message Me at Hamlet.Au!

SL web messaging
Linden Lab recently added user-to-user messaging to My Second Life, its web-based social networking platform. Now instead of selecting IM (which launches the whole heavy SL client), you selectSend Message (like I'm doing here, with SL friend Harper Beresford), and off your message goes. This is a great communication feature to add, since it also adds another way of engaging with SL that doesn't involve actually logging in, for all the times when you don't really need or want the full immersive experience. (By the way, this feature is one major reason why I don't think SL concurrency is a reliable measurement of SL growth; a lot of SL-related activity by design happens outside the grid.)
Speaking of which, message me on my web profile page, Hamlet.Au! Besides e-mail or Twitter, that's probably the best way to reach me, especially since the latest build of SL continues to be crashtastic for me.
